Con Descenso; Ascensión

October 5, 2012

Coating the marble, we condensate

coming down from that untold country

and warily counting our blessings,

weighing heavily our curses.

From Earth not Heaven, we were born

to crawl and walk and wade,

carrying through the weather our dreams,

three dogged eyes fixed on the rise.

There will be a final analysis

for it has been written, now and before:

con descenso; ascensión

with descent; ascension.
