Animals and Mirrors

August 7, 2011

Animals are mirrors, animals are archetypes.

Animals are people and we’re made of bits and bytes.

Our Selves are shells to protect us in the dark of fright.

Our fists are dull and lend themselves to us for fights

but we are not ourselves: ammo-ridden beasts of burden.

Animals are like us but cannot peek around the curtain.

We are not like ourselves; there is more and I am certain.

We are ourselves and more and I have never been more certain.
